Early pick-up from your hotel, residence, or airport-area accommodation to ensure timely park entry.

Enter the park at opening time, when predators are still active and the light is ideal for photography.
6:00–7:15 AM | Southern Plains & Open Savannah
Drive across the open grasslands south of the park, a prime area for:
- Lions returning from night hunts
- Grazing plains game (zebra, hartebeest, eland)
- Early-morning giraffe sightings with the city skyline backdrop
7:15–8:30 AM | Riverine & Rhino Areas
Proceed toward riverine sections and known rhino ranges, where both black and white rhinos are frequently seen. Buffalo herds and hippos are also common in these zones.
